Gen Zs Role in the Workforce The Pew Research Center identifies 2 important generations in our current workforce. Anyone born between 1981 and 1996 (ages 26 to 41 in 2022) is considered a Millennial. Anyone born from 1997 onward is part of a new generation. This generation was named Generation Z (Gen Z).
